The timer switch continues to cycle. Comes to the stop and then starts the cycle all over again. Is this the timer switch or what else could cause this to happem?

Odds are high that it is the timer.
Since everything looks normal but the timer just keeps advancing my guess is that the timer contacts that shut the unit off are welded together.
