Initial problem was dw would fill ok, but would not start wash cycle. Ran diagnostics and determined it was wash motor. Replaced the wash motor and turbidity sensor, but still having the problem? When running diagnostics, error is Motor - High Current. Removed Filler Flow Plate and impeller so there are no restrictions to the motor, but still getting the same error code. Have not replaced the capacitor, thermistor, or thermostat. Motor runs ok, but just for a few seconds and shutsdown?

Mr. Chuck,

The "high current" draw fail code could be due to several reasons,not necessarily the motor.

You could have a loose connection in the elecrical junction box of the dishwasher.

You could have a low voltage problem in the power supply(you should read at least 110 VAC static and a minimum 108 VAC at the motor surge(start)and your voltage should be 1 or 2 volts lower than your static voltage when the motor is in a full run mode).

You may also have a low water level fill( the water level in the tub should be even or slightly above the pump cover if it is filled properly).

I would not expect the motor to start or run, if you had a bad capacitor,but it is a remote possibility.

It sounds more like a voltage problem at this point, 2 motors, same problem.
