The cam follower became misaligned when the timer cover came loose and didn't allow the soap dispenser to open. I was able to replace the cover, but have no idea how to install and adjust the cam follower so that it opens the soap dispenser at the right time. I've tried a few times with no success. Anyone know how the cam follower should be installed/adjusted?

Check if the locking tab on the right side of the console is not broken off.

Thank you, Gene. I got a new cover, the tabs are OK. I understand the selector dial must be on 'Off', and the cam follower pointing down when reinstalled. Question: with the soap dispenser lid open, is the actuator supposed to be all the way up/down/or somewhere in between?

You can find the instructions in the Service manual (page 10-11). Even this manual is not exactly for your model, the soap dispenser is exactly the same.

Thank you. The diagrams are clear and I'm confident I can adjust the soap lid activator properly.
