Dishwasher

Model Number: DU912PFGQ0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years

Won't empty. Cycles normal, but I have to reset repeatedly to empty water. Checked hose for kinks. Should check valve hold water in when drain hose is unattached? It does'nt.
