dishwasher will not stop running

my dishwasher will run through a complete cycle. then will continue running unless i open the door. took the timer out closed the door dishwasher still runs. whats going on.

If you're dishwasher is running on a timer and you've properly removed this from the circuit, I guarantee you that it will not run.

If it's still running after you've removed the timer, call ghost busters.

Your timer motor is shorted.

Replace the timer.
