Westinghouse dishwasher won't drain

We had not used my Westinghouse dishwasher in a number of years. After running the dishwasher empty with air dry option. When I opened the dishwasher it had water in the bottom. I do not see anything that looks like a drain. It connects to the garbage disposal under the sink. Can anyone tell me what steps I should take?
