Hi,
Since my daughter decided to wash a pot still half full of chilie the stainer needs a good cleaning as well as the little basket cage thing. I have the arm with chopper off but I can't figure out how to get the strainer off to get underneath it. Can you help me. Thank You soooo much

With the arm off, there is a round white nut above the fine filter, remove that then remove the fine filter. Now the tube that comes off the back of the hub needs to come out. turn the hub to the right and pop that tube out. remove the small screen covering the sump. Now, where the tabs are that were holding the screen, grasp that with your thumb on one side and your finger on the other side and squeeze it inward and up and it will come out. That's how you get in there to clean it.
