I installed part # WD21X10247 (Kit Main & Tactile Board) . It beeped until and Clean light flashed. Beep would stop after pushing Start button. Clean light continues to flash. That's all it does. Nothing else. Your company graciously sent me another board thinking the first may have been faulty. Installed it, same result.

I was wondering if there is some sequence of buttons that need to be pushed to activate it? Originally a repair man confirmed the original board was blown out,(no power or lights), so I can confirm there is power on the new board, just won't do anything, but flash a Green light on Clean.

Any suggestions? Thanks,

Kent,

We apologize for the delay in our response,

Have you checked or replaced your door latch / switch assembly ?

Malfunctioning interlock switches will cause a variety of
customer complaints including:
• “Clean” light does not turn off
• Dishwasher stops in mid cycle
• Dishwasher stops in mid cycle and beeps
• Dishwasher operation is intermittent
• Dishwasher stops, then restarts while the door is
latched
• Dishwasher will not start
• Control panel does not respond to input when the door
is latched
These conditions can be traced to interlock switches
that open or remain open when they should be closed.
As a result, the control thinks the dishwasher door is
open and therefore will not run.
Resolve the customer’s issue by repairing the mechanism
that operates the switches.
Refer to Service Bulletin DD 01-06 for a discussion of
the switch and plunger assembly. DD 01-06 advises
the service technician to replace the switches and
plunger/spring assembly if the plunger sticks when
slowly depressing or releasing the plunger. It also advises
adjusting the latch keeper to fully depress the plunger if
it is not doing so.
If the plunger operation checks out okay, replace the
interlock switch cover, part number WD12X10194. The
cover design has been modified to better position the
interlock switches. It went into production in February

2007 as a running change and is completely backward
compatible.

Good Luck,

:) :) :)
