Amana Dishwasher making a crackling sound near motor
Model Number: ADB1200 Brand: Amana Age: 5 - 10 years
I am getting a intermittent crackling sound from the bottom of the dishwasher near motor during run cycles. It sounds like a crackle or an electrical short but I am not losing power and the unit runs correctly. I have checked for loose wires. Is this a sound of motor failure? This is the first time the unit has been run in a year.
What other brands are using the same parts as amana so I can hunt for a new motor if needed. Related Models
