Default no power going to water inlet solenoid
Model Number: SHU3305   Brand: Bosch   Age: 1 - 5 years

First of all I smelled an electrical fire smell. Then the dishwasher would stay in one cycle and not advance. Took the bottom plate off and the black power wire was burned. I cleaned it up and put the wire nut back on. Turned it on and you know how after a minute the water starts going into the dishwasher...well, no water. Tested the solenoid with the ohm meter and it is good, but then discovered that there is no power going to the solenoid. There is power going to the dishwasher (black wire) but no power going to the water inlet solenoid. How do I fix it?

Hi Ann Marie,

Most likely the problem is a bad control unit.

- The part number for the control unit is AP3387110
