Hello! I have an older DW with both door springs broken. The springs are no longer there and neither is the retainer. I see that when I order them they come as a set.

Looking at the side of the unit, I see a slot with various positions, which I assume is to adjust the balance, and several holes. I have no clue how to hook the spring to the unit and the retainer to the spring. Could anyone tell me how it all goes together?

The DW works really well, but the lower rack is rusted, the springs are broken, it doesn't match my other appliances and I may put the house up for sale in the spring. I am debating whether it is worth fixing it up in the first place, not being able to fix the spring myself would seal it's fate.
