Dishwasher stops; throws breaker
Model Number: MDBH965AWB Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
Serial # 10110706GR
Dishwasher starts - runs a while hesitates, sometimes goes on other times trips breaker. If breaker is activated it may run again to the end or stop. I'm guessing it's a timer or a heating element or a thermostat waiting for water to heat. Please advise. Charlie  Ads By Google Related Models

Charlie,
The best thing is to measure amperage drawn by the dishwasher to find out if the cause is a weak breaker or the dishwasher. You can find the normal amperage on the dishwasher name plate. Gene.
