Model Number: DU1145XTPB3 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
The heating element suddenly broke in two for no apparent reason. We've had it since Oct 2005. I've purchased a new heating element however now I've been told that the control board needs to be replaced whenever the heating element is replaced. Is this true? Is this really a necessity any time the heating elements are replaced?
If yes, what is the correct part number for the control board/panel/electronic control board? And can I just replace the interior electronic control board without replacing the entire Control Panel that is on the outside at the top of the dishwasher? Please hurry with any correct info as the dishes are piling up. Thx, DirtyDishes4Five Ads By Google Related Models |

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL DU1145XTPB3 Undercounter Dishwasher | AppliancePartsPros.com been told that the control board needs to be replaced whenever the heating element is replaced. Is this true? Who told you this? Is this really a necessity any time the heating elements are replaced? I do not see a heater and board kit listed in your parts so I am assuming it does not need a board. Also the kit is only for stainless steel tubs. If yes, what is the correct part number for the control board/panel/electronic control board? It comes as a kit. Below is an example this is for a Kitchenaide KUDI01TJBL1. Part number: AP3841139 You could call AppliancePartsPros to confirm the above. And can I just replace the interior electronic control board without replacing the entire Control Panel that is on the outside at the top of the dishwasher? Yes if it needed one it would be just the control board.
