Dishwasher fills & drains, won't spray
Model Number: GSM1800 Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
I've got a 5 year old GE gsm1800 dishwasher. It fills & drains & cycles through all the cycles, but it won't spray at all during the cycles....neither top nor bottom....the dishes just stay dry. It seems like there is a pump that circulates the water for the spray system and it isn't working.
A few months ago it did this and after a few days it started to work again. But now it's back to no spraying no matter what. I assume the pump needs to be replaced, but it could be a bad wire somewhere too, if it comes and goes. I'm just not sure what to try now. I'd appreciate any advice. Ads By Google Related Models
