i bought this is 2005 and have had a horrible time..fortunately i had an extended warranty with Sears.i have a dozen service calls...mostly to replace the control board

i need to replace the washer motor assembly on this...the part came with the gasket and some kind of wierd little tool looking thing and some lube..what are those things for?and whats the bestway to put the gasket on...is the lube for this
