Model Number: GU2200XTSQ2 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
guys .. have a WP unit with the heating element completely crusted over with lime deposits. Seems like it should be very easy to change out, easier that trying to scrape off the deposit. What part do I need and is there a recommended procedure for the element replacement?
Note, the symptom was that the glasses were getting cloudier by the day. By looking in this website I was able to determine that the lack of hot water was not allowing the dishwasher soap to completely dissolve and that seemed to be causing the issue. I was able to get some of the deposit off the element and even that little amount showed a good improvement on the glasses. Thanks for the help. Ads By Google Related Models |
