My dishwasher stopped draining, I press the cancel/drain and all you hear is a initial hum like its starting and then it stopped. I checked the drain hose and and even removed the check valve to see it there was any blockage. I could not see any blockage. I review some the "not draining topics" and follow some of the suggestions. Do you think is as simple as replacing the check valve. Thanks for any suggestion.:)

Anything is possible. You will probably want to check the pump & motor as well.

Have you installed anew garbage disposal or anything?

Thanks for the reply, no new disposal, so I tried again to checked for any blockages and removing the value, I ran a wash cycle and this time it did drain, there could have been a blockage that I did not see or notice. I just glad it wasn't the pump. Thanks again
