My machine won't complete a wash cycle. It goes down to "1" then stays there. It will complete a Rinse/Hold cycle normally. I have read through other posts and it looks like I need to at least inspect the control module and possibly repair or replace it. How do I access the module? Do I remove the panel on the back of the door or go through the front? Thanks

The model number you posted is incomplete. It suppose to be two more numbers after "/". Verify and repost it.

Thanks, I will follow the instructions. Is it possible that I damaged the module by running the dishwasher with low temp water? As mentioned, my water was at 105F (not sure why)?

I finally got the nerve (and time) to get to the controller and sure enough, I found a 'smoked' trace on the circuit board. I see that people have had limited success re-soldering the connection. I tried but I am not confident in the results as it looked like the relay pin was gone. Have you (or anyone) had any success replacing the realy?? It is a $1 part (+$7 shipping) but worth a try I think at least. Unless persuaded otherwise

Did you replacew the relay? I would rather try that than pay $167 for a new control module

Yes I did replace the relay. I followed some advice on an alternate (better) relay and so far 3 months into it, it is working wonderfully. I ordered 2 replacement relays from Digi-Key and with shipping it came to $5.87 (and that was two relays in case I screwed one up!). It took me about 10mins once I had the board in hand. The only trick is you want to make sure the replacement is snug to the board as it is taller than the original and will not allow the housing to close without riding it.

Go to digikey.com and type in either T7CS5D-06 or digikey p/n PB336-ND and that should bring up a 6VDC-12A relay at $1.90.

As I understand it, the design is bad. The original relay is slightly undersized at 10amps. The replacement is 12amps. Just have to throw in: Not impressed with Bosch (or whoever) not owning up to marginal design.

Re: Bosch she44c05uc/22 I have the door apart and have access to the control panel however I cannot see how to remove the defective CP without damaging the hole in which it sits. I have looked in the text of the dishwasher training manual but it doesnt provide the info I need. I guess I need a picture (s) of the removal. Can you assist?
