Our hardworking kenmore elite dishwasher (color almond, model# 665.15974992) seems confused. we can no longer access favorite cycles or otherwise adjust the cycles from the keypad. tried cycling into diagnostic mode per the tech sheet but no joy. would you kind folks have any suggestions before we look at buying that nice $200 part? thanks so much

TV,

Before you replace the control panel assembly,

You may want to access the control panel control assembly and check and clean the end of the touchpad assembly ribbon and board connector with, alcohol or a non residue electricak contact cleaner and re seat the ribbon in the connector.

I show where Kenmore only has the White or Black control panel available.

Part number: AP3124323
Part number: AP3124323
(White)

Part number: AP3124325
Part number: AP3124325
(Black)

Good Luck,

TV,

Just remember to disconnect the power to the machine, FIRST.

Once you separate the inner door liner from the frame , you'll be fine.
