Kirkland Costco Washer stopped during water filling
Model Number: SAWS800MQ Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
When the washer is filling water, the washer stopped. I tried to start it again. The water only went on couple of seconds and then stopped. Tried 3rd time by pulling the switch back to start, nothing happens. Now no matter what I do, nothing happens. I set the switch to any duration of the cycle, wash/drain/..., nothing happens. I checked the latch(pin) for the cover. It came off easily. But I don't think it is bacause of the cover latch since the water should still fill when the cover is open. I may have just accidentally bump it off. Any ideas what could be wrong?

The water valve is on all the time. I flipped it back and forth couple of times. If the water inlet line is clogged, it is supposed to spin when I switched it to the spin cycle. Correct? There is quite some water in the washer.

If the lid switch is broken or off it will not spin. But if the water valve located on the inside rear of the machine has malfunctioned you may not get any water in the unit. If the connections are loose or came off the valve that may be your problem.
