I have a GSD2030Z02WW, which we have use very seldomly, and the motor has the know hummm sound but it does not move. I tried to spin the motor manually and does move with a lot of effort (not a free spin). I was tring to remove the motor from the assembly (removed 3 screws) but the shaft seems to be attached to the pump. Is there a way to release it to isolate the motor from the pump? Can the motor be replaced independently of the pump or better of spending the ~$130 for the motor/pump? (new dishwasher runs around $250-300).

Cheers.

Here is the parts breakdown.
Replacement parts for General Electric GSD2030Z02WW Dishwasher | AppliancePartsPros.com

Remove the sump cover (bottom center of tub) and check inside the sump for debris or something wrapped around the chopper.
Be careful as there is often broken glass in the sump.

The motor/pump is bought as an assembly.
