But no washing action. Took drain line off and ran into bucket. Ran through entire cycle. Fills fine, drains fine, heat works. Guessing motor, switch, something like that for the main drive line?

Thanks

Jeff

Check your spray arms & supply lines for an obstruction.

All arms, etc are clear and move freely. Sounds like the motor that runs them are out (assuming it is a separate motor).

Check underneath the unit , there is a round silver start capaciter on the left side, turn power off to unit, pull front kick panel. and reach straight back with a good flashlight to see as you reach behind the back of the pump assembly, you should see or feel a blue and a yellow wire each on its on terminal.

There is a round silver capacitor as shown in photo. I can see a yellow wire, however I can not see the blue wire. I assume I am on the right item. Anyway, what are you suggesting? Do you believe it should be replaced?

I'm sorry I wasn't clear, I wanted you to check physically with your hands that both wires were attached, either one being off or loose would prevent the motor from operation, besides that, I think you have a bad motor. Check your Use and Care manual most motor pump assemblys carry an extended warranty on replacement

Thank you. I will check that. Otherwise I will be buying new motor assembly and installing.

Thanks

Jeff
