While I searched the archives, I do not find posts for this maytag dishwasher. Detergent door does not open. I replaced both wax motors and checked wiring. Control panel??

Did you check that the door opened when you had wax motor off.
If not, I would do that first just to be sure you do not have a mechanical problem.

If it OK mechanically then odds are it is the control board.
