Dishwasher making noise
Model Number: DU1100XTPQ6 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a Whirlpool Quiet II dishwasher that just recently started making a loud grinding noise during the washing cycle. It makes that noise for a while and then toward the last of the cycle it gets quiet again.
I checked the grinder and nothing was in it. It doesn't make the noise any other time. It is so loud that we can have our bedroom door closed across the house and still hear it. I checked on some your sites forums and it sounded like it may be a pump/assembly. Just needing some help. Thank you! Ads By Google Related Models

Whirlpool dishwasher only 4 years old...Died on Sept. 1, 2010
No need in answering my question now as the dishwasher is officially not working anymore. The motor went out this morning.
I will not buy a Whirlpool again.
