I started experiencing problems with water pressure to top rack and found the chopper to be quite clogged. upon further investigation I found the plastic on ends were chewed up so I bought the chopper and the impeller. parts: AP3039186 Chopper

after taking it apart, I was unable to get the impeller to screw on, the motor appears to be larger diameter shaft than impeller?

is there a reason for the size difference? was my dishwasher motor not standard?

any help would be greatly appreciated.
