Dirty dishes how do I change washer arms and maybe filter?

Replacing the wash arm is relatively easy, remove the lower rack, remove the plastic retainer nut and lift the arm off. The filter is a more involved situation.

You would need to remove the pump cover,I would remove the filter and the backflush arm assembly and soak both assemblies the in the sink in hot water and white vinegar,Lime Away,CLR,or similar product. Then use a semi soft scrub brush the remove the deposits built up on the components.

You may want to view the pump motor assembly in AppliancePartsPros.com parts order screen to see the components and order of parts involved to access the components I mentioned, or you could order the parts insted of cleaning them.


There is a service manual available , but you would have to order that from the manufacturer.
