Kitchen aid antique
Model Number: kdsm21a Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: More than 10 years
During a wash cycle I opened the door to retrieve something and from then on the unit does not function any longer. I have checked the house breakers and made sure the plug used is operational. I receive no lights or power signal on the front panel. Any suggestions?

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL KDSM21A | AppliancePartsPros.com Here is the wiring diagram http://www.servicematters.com/docs/w...2020084208.pdf Could be that the door switch is not being activated or is shot. By the sound of it the unit is using a line (power) cord so I would check the wire nut connections on that. It certainly does look antique, but a few parts are still available.
