I was not able to get water to my dishwasher so I ordered a new water valve and it still does not get water. I also cleaned out the float to make sure nothing was hindering it...still no water. The water valve is on from the sink to the dishwasher. What else could it be? Thanks

Check to see if you get voltage (120 volts) across the float switch and water valve when it should be filling.

If yes then check just across the float switch, if you have voltage across it then the float switch is probably toast.

Could also be a broken wire from the control board to the valve or the control board itself.
