I have a KSM90 Kitchenaid blender. It appears the head goes down too far when locking it for blending. The one attachment has a spot where the finish has worn off.
In looking at the parts list, there are lots of little parts that appear to control the locking and travel of the head. Do you have any suggestions as to which parts I should focus on? Is there a repair manual available?

I'm not positive about this, but if you tilt the blender up and look at the area where the blender rotates, you'll see a screw between the 2 "ears" of the pivot mechanism. I believe by screwing this in or out will adjust the "stop" and allow you to correct the problem of the mixing blade touching.
