maytag atlantis washer won't do final spin

Model Number: mavt834aww Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years

Maytag Atlantis Washer Model # MAVT834AWW-serial 16208125ax

The washer goes to it normal washing cycle but when the timer reach the final spin it stop until it goes turn off. When I check the laundry if fill with water . The solution Im doing right now is turning the nob to between washing cycle and rinse to get the water off the laundry.

Do you think the timer need to be replace ?

What wrong with it ?
