DAVE: HI I just ordered and rec'd today a motor and a coupling for a Kitchen Aid Blender the new motor has a different mount that holds some kind of a sensor next to the motor armature ...it is a 3 wire 4 " long with white connectors on each end ...one end plugs into the circuit board ...the othere goes into holder ? ? ? I can't find wire

On the new motor, you recieved,

Part number: AP4325805

The holder for the overload protector (3 wire harness), is located on the bottom of the motor, and you "snap" the sensor end of the harness into the holder on the bottom, and then the other end onto the connector on the control board.

I think you'll be alright from here on out.

ACTUALLY...... MY PROBLEM IS THE HOLDER THAT HOLDS THE WIRE HARNESS TO THE ARMATURE PICKUP IS DIFFERENT ON THE NEW MOTOR THAN ON THE OLD MOTOR ....

Dave,

I had a feeling, it was something else.

The sensor harness, is not available as a separate component.

In your case, it is part of the control board,
