I am from Canada and the price of the motor, service call and labour would easily cost half the price of a new dryer. A motor is a major repair and expense. At 10 years, really consider the overall condition of your dryer and weigh out your options....I would consider a new dryer at 10 years. Good luck and Happy New Year
