Brand: Kenmore   Age: 5 - 10 years

Appliance Parts from

my kenmore 2009 side by side coldspot makes noise of water hitting a hot surface took off the panel in freezer to see the coil with a heating element around it to defrost it as the refrigerator defrosts with its cycle the water melts on the coil and in the compartment dripping on the heater element making that sound i don't see a fix as heat melts ice water drips this is a safety flaw is it dangerous the heating element looks like whats in a stove do i need a new fridge I'm not a rocket scientist my concern at looking at it was safety and again i don't see a fix and it drains correctly

See inside of your appliance - diagrams and part photos for virtually every model.
