Somebody anybody - tell me where to get the diagram RonOh is talking about. I need to remove my insinkerator. Check these symptoms out -
1. It hums but turns freely (it is not stuck).
2. If you manually spin it with the power on, it will start working.
3. When you turn the power off, it will not start again unless you manualy spin it up to speed.

any comments welcome - but I am thinking I could remove the disposal, take it apart and find something inside like the piece of that old dishrag that got caught in there a week ago.
