Can you upload a clear photo of the wiring diagram and timer chart? According to the sears parts website, your washer has a 3-speed motor which would have the extra connector with wht/vio and wht/orn wires. The water level switch only places the machine in agitation mode and provides power to the timer motor during agitate. At the end of agitate mode, a set of timer contacts (#2)(pressure switch bypass) close to provide power to the timer motor and main drive motor. This is in series with the lid switch, so it appears to be either a bad lid switch, timer, or faulty wire connector/connection.
