Default drain tube

This is an unusual problem for a fridge that's 1-5 years old... Normally there's a p-trap tube that drains from the freezer compartment into the condensate tray underneath the fridge... This tube can become clogged with 'crap' which would lead to the problem that you are talking about... Another clog could be ice.. Suggest inspecting and cleaning this tube underneath the fridge.. It will be plastic or rubber.. Observe the rear inside cover of the freezer compartment and you should be able to view the drain opening for icing blockage.. Use a hair dryer to remove any ice buildup...
