We had purchased the user interface a few days ago from this site and it was delivered in a couple of days. A few minutes ago we removed all the screws from the door except the two near the bottom. The user interface was easily removed with some pressure on the tab holding it in place and lifting it at the same time using two flat head screw drivers. The ribbon/pin part was then detached with a little back and forth motion. Then the new interface was attached to the ribbon/pin part and inserted. Screws were put back in the door, breaker was switched to the "on" position. Dishwasher works.
