Default Thermal fuse & thermostats
Model Number: REL4636BW!   Brand: Roper   Age: 5 - 10 years

The thermal fuse has blown. I suspect it was because of a faulty thermostat. I have checked the thermal cut off and high limit thermostats at room temperature and they have continuity.

The dryer cycling thermostat has continuity between the top and bottom terminals, but shows some resistance between the 2 side terminals.

The vent system is unobstructed.

What most likely caused my thermal fuse to blow?
