Yes, we are running the fridge with the ice maker off. Should we have done that when we first plugged it in? Is that why the end of the hose froze on day 2? It had already made a cycle of ice, then where the water fills the ice tray froze and water started being diverted down the sides. How do you keep it from freezing? The freezer light didn't start flickering until after that happened.
The original problem was the fridge side lower door switch that makes the light go off when you close the door. Eventually, after working on it, that shorted out. Wondering if that might have shorted something else out? We have already ordered that switch.(#WR23X10143)
The ice dispenser worked great for years before we moved it here. Would love for it to work again.
