The first thing I would do is to see how the fridge works without the ice maker. Lift all the way up the arm on the right side of the ice maker. It should turn the ice maker off and then run the fridge for a few days under you personal supervision. If anything wrong, let me know.
The next step is to check the ice maker and the water valve, but lets do one thing at a time.
About flickering light, check the light bulb for loosen connection. If this is not the issue then replace the light switch. Unplug the fridge first.
