My Kitchenaid oven display has gone out. When I touch the keypad it beeps, but will not turn on. When I hit the start button it beeps three times. The light button does turn on the light. When I open the door the light comes on as well. I've turned the power off, but nothing has changed. Before I call someone for service I would like to see if there is something I can do myself or at a minimum understand what needs to be fixed to protect my pocketbook. There is no display of any error codes. Is it the control panel that needs to be replaced? The display panel? Maybe just a loose connection? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
