Default low charge

The possibility of a plugged capillary tubing exists in this instance as well and next to impossible to repair on a chest freezer... You're showing this freezer to be 1 to 5 years old but uses R-12, I would guess this frigidaire is older than 5 years if it has R-12 in it... If this system is low on refrigerant then that means there's a leak somewhere in the system also next to impossible to repair if the leak is inaccessable... The hotshot refrigerant (R-414B) can be purchased from local suppliers but requires the buyer to be EPA certified to handle refrigerants which it sounds as tho you may be since you were able to read system pressures... I know Johnstone Supply carries 10oz containers which will get you going until it leaks back down again... cheers, kooler
