So I had someone come out and take a look at my washer. He said a bearing had to be replaced. Said to fix it he would have to take the entire washer apart and it would be really labor intensive. Quoted me $750 plus and told me go out and buy a Whrilpool or a Maytag. Does the above diagnosis sound correct or did he just not want to be bothered fixing my machine? Thanks

I think he said it was the rear bearing, if that means anything to anyone.
