I energized the motor by shorting "T" and "H". The motor start point (blue mark on wheel) was at 5:30 position and the water valve started at approx. 2:00 position and ran for longer than 10 seconds. I estimate it ran for almost 20 seconds and overflowed the ice tray as usual. When the timer point reached the 2:00 position to energize the water valve there was some smoke coming from the wheel near the 2:00 position. The smoke smelled "electrical" in nature.

The timer then continued on until the 5:30 position where it stopped.
