Drain pump replaced, now timer stops after wash and will not rinse
Model Number: FWT449GFS1 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 5 - 10 years
I replaced the drain pump on my washer with a redesigned pump (original design no longer available according to various sources) due to debris ($3.75 in change)getting sucked in it and breaking off the impeller vanes, but now the timer runs to the end of the wash cycle, drains the tub and just stops and buzzes, won't advance into rinse cycle. Did I miss something in the pump replacement or di I now have a bad timer?? Any help is Greatly appreciated!
