Default RTD probe on frigidaire range
Brand: Frigidaire   Age: 1 - 5 years

Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com

I have a Frigidaire modelGLEFM385DSJ and started getting a periodic F30 error. Per the advice of this site, I found the RTD probe and since it looked the same as the one on the lower oven and measured the same resistance (1100 ohms), I switched the two. It has only been used twice since, but the upper oven appears to work again. Is there any danger of just leaving that probe in there and replacing the one currently in the lower oven? The part numbers are different, but I figure that is because the wiring is longer on the lower oven one. Thanks!!
