Default Sub-Zero freezer quit/ refer. OK. Repair
Model Number: 550   Brand: Sub Zero   Age: More than 10 years

Freezer on bottom. Refer on top. Condenser motor and fan stuck. Refer was getting minimal cold at a setting of 10. Freezer working well. Could hear motors going all the time.
Replaced Condenser motor and fan -- now the fan is running well, and the referigerator is cold again.
But when I disconnected the electrical wires from the connection clip to the wires on the motor, I failed to color mark the the two wires,so as to put the two new motor wires in the correct slots. I tested one wire of the old motor on one of the male slot clips, and got an arc. (My chances of 50/50 didn't work). I put the correct other wire lead in the female motor side clip, and the ribbed black wire in the other slot, and the condensor motor took off and ran well.
My Problem: The freezer now doesn't work. Cannot hear an "on-off" click when turning the temp. dial. Did I short something out on the freezer switch? Is the 'hot' wire to the connector to condenser motor tied in to the freezder switch? Help please. How to repair? From front, or do I pull built in Sub Zero out and work from back? Any comments appreciated, except for my stupidity in not marking the connector clips.
Thanks.
Cody
