Default the fuse mounts on the side of the heater

the same screw that holds the heater element holds the fuse. It has 2 white wires going to itmaytag fuse kit.jpgand the kit comes with 2 fuses lucky you. The dryer will not run at all if this fuse is blown because it is in series with the doors switch. What does that mean? The door switch kills power to the dryer when open. So to kill power to the dryer quickly they wired that fuse on the same circuit as that door switch. Clever ain't it?
