Isn't that answer too vague? I have the same problem...but I am thinking it is the igniter. We used to hear a metal scraping sound shortly before you would hear a click and the gas ignite....now we just hear the metal scraping and never hear the click....and in turn...no gas igniting...the dryer will just run and not heat. Blowing cold air would indicate that 220 volts is reaching the dryer...Senior Expert.
