The easiest way to test is with
one of these. But there is really no need for that. Replace the igniter and you should be back in business.
You can purchase the original
Whirlpool oven igniter your model calls for or you can save about $45 and get a Frigidaire
oven igniter instead. The igniters are almost identical and either one will work just fine.
